EX EMT/Firefighter Fights 4 Life

Our brother and dear friend has gone from putting his life on the line to help save other's lives as a Paramedic and volunteer firefighter to fighting for his own life.
Beginning in March of 2016 Ron began battling a massive infection in his legs. He has had over 200 Doctor appointments, spent 90 days in 13 hospital stays, 8 blood transfusions, 4 surgeries to remove massive infection in his legs, three bone marrow biopsies, 2 lymph node biopsies, MRI's, CT Scans, and x-rays too numerous to count, trying to find the cause of his blood loss. Ron eventually had to have his left leg amputated below the knee in order to save his life.
The Doctors have not been able to determine the cause of his body storing the iron from the transufions in his cells causing an iron toxicity. The only way to counteract the excessive iron is to treat him with a medication (Exjade) at a cost of $8400 per month. The medication is expected to be needed for several months.
Ron's family was financially taxed even before taking into consideration the cost of the life saving medication. Please donate to help raise the funds necessary for the medication and other expenses incurred by the family. Ron, is a loving father, husband, brother and friend who has been a giver all if his life and now is the time to for us to give back.
