EMT Training Course Expenses

I am approaching my last semester in college and moving forward I was planning to take a year or two to work and gain clinical experience as an EMT and save up some money before applying for medical school. I was expecting to take the EMT training course offered at Flagstaff's local community college at a discounted WUE rate, but sadly that program does not apply to this training course. Since I am still a CA resident, the course's out-of-state course fee is a whopping $3,000 dollars. While I am working 20+ hours a week on top of my studies, I will not be able to make the payment by the deadline of November 21st. I would not be able to take this course until the Fall if I had to wait to raise the funds, which would decrease my chances of getting hired here in Flagstaff. I was planning to be working full time at my research position here in Flagstaff and taking on as many night and weekend shifts EMTing as possible to start paying off my college loans, but if I cannot take this course next semester, it will really throw a wrench in my career progression. I've worked tirelessly to ensure I've maintained a 4.0 GPA, gained experience through leadership in extracirriculars, and worked at multiple different professional skill-developing positions throughout my college career, and to be tripped up at the finish line over this would be very disappointing. I realize this is a last minute plea, but I have been trying to consider my other options the last week since I recieved the invoice and was reluctant to ask for handouts. Any help you can provide will be invaluable to me in pursuing my career goals and in gaining experience to facilitate my journey to becoming a medical professional.
