Locked out due to Covid, unable to operate my business in any capacity. Mother of four children who cannot yet return to school in person due to underlying health conditions and in precaution to Covid.
My business in home health was forced to cease operation in March, 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic sweeping the globe. All of my business was concentrated in Assisted Living facilities, of which I have been locked out of since the beginning of the pandemic. Raising four children, my youngest having been born with Down Syndrome, this was how I was able to provide a decent life for my children. Like so many, that was ripped away when this virus hit our nation. I was not able to care for my clients. I was not able to get new clients. I couldn't go near my primary location of business. Not only am I not able to work, my, like all children, were locked out of school, which was the only way I was able to have my children educated, supervised and cared for while I operated my business. Like all Americans my life came to a stop. It hasnt yet been able to restart.
Three of my four children suffer from asthma, my youngest also being born with Down Syndrome, I cannot confidently send my children back to school so finding work, let alone attempting to re open my business is just a dream at this point.
I need the village. I've spent my life caring for the loved ones of others. I am calling on others to care at this moment as if me and my children are YOUR loved ones.
