Gems for Gems is a locally run registered Charity and has identified the need to not only ease the pain created by the global epidemic of domestic abuse, but to do all within our power to end the cycle for as many women, and their children, as possible.
Empowering women to empower themselves ignites the spark needed to create lasting change. Through our initiatives, that spark grows into the fire used to light the way to a new life for all.
In 2018 Gems for Gems will be partnering with colleges and other educational institutions across Canada in-order to provide nation wide trade scholarships, attainable in under 12 months, awarded to candidates from these shelters.
These funds need to be raised by September 15th and 100% of the money raised will create a life changing ripple effect and hand up for deserving candiates.
