“EMPIRE FITNESS”
WHAT:
A Wholistic Training Facility: “Empire Fitness.” We plan to offer Boot Camp, Personal Training, Mental Health Support, Tutoring/Mentoring, Dance Classes, Yoga/Meditation, Senior Exercise Programs, Youth/High School Group Training, 1-on-1 Position Specific Training, Speed Training/Conditioning, Unlimited Open Gym Access, Field Turf, Lounge Room, Meal Prep, Merchandise, and a Military Discount. This will all be offered out of an industrial warehouse in Lakewood, WA.
WHY:
In Pierce County alone, there are over 400 children who are ‘reported’ homeless. One of our main goals is to offer a safe, stable environment for at risk youth. Whether it’s providing them a place to do homework, working out, or simple job tasks to create a sense of purpose. While we won’t be able to reach them all, we know that our efforts will create a positive ripple effect throughout the community.
We understand that Lakewood has very diverse demographics (race, gender, ethnicity, age, socio-economic status). Our visions are to welcome different communities to a wholistic facility that they can call a “home away from home,” to have an accessible facility in Pierce County, and to help provide a healthy/positive lifestyle.
We came up with the name “Empire Fitness” because since we have known each other, we have always talked about “Building An Empire” and raising young Kings and Queens of all backgrounds to live to their fullest potential and express their greatness!
We both live in Lakewood and haven’t found any wholistic facilities here yet. We actually met at a training facility where we both traveled over an hour to get to and almost two hours back because of Seattle rush hour traffic. We know a lot of athletes and community members of all ages and backgrounds would appreciate a facility with everything that we have to offer in Pierce County.
We want it to be a family environment that will be a positive for the community. We also plan to do different kinds of charities, family events, and more.
WHEN:
We wish to have it open by January 2020 at the latest.
HOW:
This is where you come in. We are looking for individuals and organizations who would be willing to help us make this vision come to life through sponsorships and donations. We truly appreciate your time and consideration.
