Emotional Support Dog for Nat
Donation protected
Nathaniel is 18 years old and a high school senior in Noblesville, Indiana. After some mis-diagnoses, two years ago Nat was finally medically assessed and diagnosed with autism. His official diagnosis is PDD-NOS with ADHD, Dysgraphia , and Executive Function Deficits.
Along with this diagnosis from Christian Sarkine Austism Center at Riley Children's Hospital, Nat has also been diagnosed with anxiety and depression. The combination of these diagnoses can quite often cause great difficulty with communication or even being involved in any activites, including school.
Recently Nat has made it known his need for an emotional stability dog to aid him with dealing with various daily stresses. Stresses that an average person would see to be normal, for Nat they can be debilitating. A dog that would provide calming and reassurance is a common prescription for individuals like Nat.
In order to help Nat with this, various pet breeds and breeders have been researched and the results have shown costs to average $1500 - $2000 . The money raised will help Nat to purchase his emotional stability pet and also a few necessary supplies in order for the dog to sleep and spend all its time with him in his room. Nat's family doctor is also providing a prescription that will allow Nat to have his dog with him everywhere he goes and he won't be denied the dog in the future when looking for a place to live.
Thank you for your donation toward helping Nat.
