Emmys Brave Fight

Emmy is a beautiful 10 year old and such a smiley, happy-go lucky little girl. She loves school,Harry Potter and writing her own children’s stories. She is a gentle soul and is loved so much by all her family, especially mummy and daddy, brother Jak and sister Eliza.Unfortunately, on Sunday 1st December just a few weeks after her 10th birthday she was taken to hospital after falling ill. After tests a Brain Tumour was diagnosed and on Friday the 6th December Emmy underwent a 8 hour operation to remove the tumour. After that operation their lives changed forever as the family received the devastating news that Emmy has an aggressive Brain Tumour. As you can imagine, this is truly the kind of news that brings the entire family to its knees and leaves them fearful for the future. But, while they will face many physical, emotional and financial challenges, the family and the entire family are ready for the fight that lies ahead! Emmy will need further surgery and will shortly start a 7 week intensive course of treatment at Birmingham Children’s Hospital to kill any cancer cells within the affective areas.


They are an extremely close and proud family so the decision in agreeing to start the fund didn’t come easily, but they will need the help of our community. We are aiming to raise as much money as possible for the family and by donating, no matter how big or small, you will help ease the financial burden on the family and assist the family with living costs associated with their current situation, and help them so that they can just focus on being present with Emmy, and provide the extras to enhance Emmy’s quality of life and face this challenge head on.

All money raised will go directly to the Reid family(Leanne and Dan)and the care of Emmy and they are so unbelievably grateful.
