Kandice and her 6 year old daughter, Emma, were on their way to Emma's school on Monday May 22, 2023 when they were involved in a head on collision. Kandice and Emma were rescued from the crash and transported to Butterworth Hospital and Helen Devos Children's Hospital. Kandice has since then undergone multiple surgeries with more to follow and extensive rehab, as bother her legs and feet were broken. Our Emma succumbed to her injuries and passed away with her mother, father, and step father by her side on May 24, 2023 at 5:31pm. The family, especially Emma, is well loved and cherished by so many and in this devastating time we would like to ask for financial donations. The donations will go towards funeral costs and arrangements, medical equipment and home modifications to accommodate Kandice when she is finally able to return home, upcoming bills for Emma's parents, any other expenses that will occur from this tragedy, and overall provide a financial buffer for the family as they take their time to grieve the loss of their little girl and recover.
