Emily Schena Memorial Scholarship Fund

Donation protected
The sisters of the Delta Zeta Sorority along with the Speech Pathology Major at Clarion University are teaming up to honor Emily Schena by creating an endowment scholarship in her name. Emily Schena passed away January 14th, 2013 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. At the time of her passing Emily was a sister of the Delta Zeta Sorority and a senior majoring in Speech Pathology at Clarion University. Emily was a loving and caring daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. While on Earth Emily touched the lives of so many people, and this scholarship will enable her to continue to do so while she is watching over us from up above.

The requirement to get an endowed scholarship through the university is that a minimum of $25,000 must be in the fund. Emily's family and friends are asking for your support to make this scholarship possible. The goal is to get the scholarship going for either the spring 2014 semester or the fall 2014 semester, and to have the first recipient of the scholarship be a person that Emily personally knew.

When the initial $25,000 is raised the fund will begin giving out the scholarship. The scholarship money will come from the interest accumulated from the initial money deposited. This means that the scholarship will always be in existence. This is the best way to honor Emily because she will be able to continue touching people's lives for years to come.

Any donation, no matter how big or small will help reach our goal. Help us remember and honor our little angle by making this scholarship a reality!
