Emily's trip to Mexico with YWAM

Hello, everyone!
I am starting this page let you know about my upcoming trip to Mexico with YWAM (Youth with a Mission) http://www.ywammazatlan.com/. God has been speaking to me lately about what he has called me to do in this season of my life...missions! God first put it on my heart a few months ago, and everything has come together so quickly!
As many of you know, God has called me to be involved in missions, and my dream is to educate the uneducated about health and to care for those who do not have access to proper health care.
My last trip was three years ago, and it was amazing...God confirmed many of my dreams about wanting to work on the mission field. I was given a few opportunities to go on mission trips and travel, but God told me to patiently wait. When God spoke to me about YWAM, I wasn't sure as He has said "not yet" to everything else but He has been speaking to me a lot about it and using others to encourage and pray for me.
My desire was to go to Columbia or somewhere else in South America, but God told me to look into Mexico (I honestly didn't want to go to Mexico because I had already been there) but I eventually looked and I found out that they are starting Mercy Ships (medical ships) out of Mazatlán to unreached cities and countries... my dream come true!
I ask that you would keep me in your prayers while I prepare to go and while I am away. Secondly, please pray for my physical body because of the two car accidents I was involved in but I know that God is the Great Physician and He will heal me. Thirdly, pray that God will provide the finances that I will need. This trip will cost about $9,000 CAD for the three-month training plus the two-month outreach.
The DTS (discipleship training program) starts September 28th, 2017 and will end in January 2018. After the training, I will be going on the outreach for two months (on a ship!!)... then we'll see what God tells me to do!
