Emily's Hearing Aid

Most insurances do not cover hearing aids, unless you work in a mine, so my family does not have the means to buy one.

My hearing loss started in the 5th Grade. A sudden ringing in my right ear, and then I couldn't hear. Hearing doesn't get better, so I've only gotten worse. It is frustrating to ask people what they said all the time. I talk very loudly, especially in crowds, because I can't hear myself speak. Along with my hearing loss, I also have what's called recruitment. That is when one gets a headache when hearing loud noises. Which means not only can I not hear, but I also can't have things too loud or I get sick. There is only a small "window" of sound that is right for me. Having a hearing aid would make my life more comfortable, less awkward. I would greatly appreciate any donations! Every little bit helps :)
