Romans 12:12
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
Hello family & friends,
On behalf of Emily's parents, Luz and Hector Serrano, a Gofundme page has been created to help our beloved Emily & Daniel Mendez during this time of brief discomfort. Emily was hospitalized due to a small cold that rapidly evolved into a severe walking Pneumonia. Due to her condition, she has been sedated for six days and has not spoken to her family since her hospitalization. Although she is showing tremendous progress, we ask that you continue to pray for Emily and her family. We are very much looking forward to having her back with us happy and healthy.
Emily, Danny and their children recently moved into their new home, and were in the process of renovating their space when she became ill. While Emily recovers, we hope to alleviate their stressful burden as a family and cover the cost of everything her home may need during this new transition. We want her to experience minimal stress during her recovery period and for her home to be welcoming once she is given permission to leave the hospital. Her prognosis although good, will most likely be lengthy and will require physical therapy, rest and a comfortable setting.
We love you Emily and can't wait to hear your voice again. We are more than grateful that God has been with us every step of the way. He's had His hand on Emily's process and we are thankful for His love and kindness. Your husband Danny, your kids Emma and Jaeden, your sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, parents, in laws, friends and church love you.
