Emily's Recovery Fundraiser Events

Emily beat hodgkin's lymphoma right before coronavirus began. Unfortunately, she now has a different type of cancer which is found through spreading in organs, spine and blood. T-cell lymphoblastic Leukaemia is treatable by bone marrow / stem cell transplant. Emily has a twin sister and 3 other siblings, but none of these matched to Emily's cells. Many friends and family have now registered as a donor in an attempt to match her. There has been news that ONE donor has matched and this is being investigated more thoroughly. This fundraiser is to help raise money for Sherrie (Emily's mother). As a single mother of 5, and a full-time university student (YAY! Go Sherrie!), she has to find babysitting, manage schooling, continuous transport between Brisbane and Redbank Area to get to the hospital, amongst many other tasks that now are required. This has had massive impacts on Sherrie's time and finances.
