Emily Ocelus’ Angels

Donation protected

On Friday night, April 17 at 10:30pm, Emily Ocelus was struck by a car in Philadelphia close to her Temple University apartment. The accident occurred as a result of a carjacked SUV that collided with another car, and then crushed Emily’s legs as she was crossing the street. She sustained critical injuries to both her legs. She is currently hospitalized awaiting numerous surgeries at Temple University Hospital. Doctors are optimistic that with a long road of surgeries and rehabilitation, Emily will be able to recover and eventually walk again. This has been especially trying and emotional for Emily and her family as they cannot be with her, comfort her, or hug her in the hospital with the current pandemic regulations in place.

Emily grew up in Worcester, Pennsylvania on her family farm, O & F Farms with her three younger siblings. She attended St. Helena Catholic School and graduated from Methacton High School where she was an honor roll student and member of the cheerleading team. Emily began cheering at a young age and enjoyed cheering for State and Maximum cheer clubs where her cheer families became an extension of her real family. Emilyworked hard and earned a partial scholarship to Temple University where she was majoring in business.

We are trying to raise money to help with Emily’s medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and living expenses. Emily needsour help for her future bills and home retrofitting that will need to be in place as Emily heals and learns to walk again. Any financial help, prayers, or donations will be gratefully appreciated. Thank you so much for anything you can contributefor Emily.
