Hi lovely people,
For as long as I can remember, I have had a burning passion for performing. I studied a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Acting and went to uni to study a Musical Theatre degree, but sadly I did not have the experience I was yearning for and this was devastating. After 2 years and completing my foundation degree, I decided I simply had to leave this environment, as it wasn’t making me feel good about myself.
Last weekend I auditioned at MGA (drama school) in Edinburgh. Yesterday, I was offered a place for September, on a 3 year BA Honours degree. This is an absolute dream come true for me. I’m having to self fund the first year (in addition to accommodation costs). I am unable to access any student loans or funding for tuition fees and accommodation so need to fund this myself for three years.
So I urge you to please give anything you can and if you can’t donate, just sharing would mean the world. Please help a northern girl from a working class family to fulfil her greatest aspiration.
