As many of you know from my Snapchat, my little sister got into a severe car accident yesterday morning. She was probably texting and driving, swerved and lost control, wrapped around two trees and got ejected through the driver side window. Right now she is heavily sedated and temporarily paralyzed so that her body can relax and heal. Her brain pressure was at a 23 yesterday but has dropped to a 14. The normal brain pressure is at a 5. She is hooked up to a breathing machine and all others kinds of cords that are doing everything for her so she can rest. Monday morning they are going to ween her off the meds and that's when we'll all know the severity of her brain damage. Until then we don't know anything further except that the meds are working and her pupils are responsive which is extremely good.
