Emily Goes Ultra for Lauren

Donation protected
I will be racing UM Australia's 10km Swim, 421.1km Cycle 84.3km Run on May 12, 13, 14 2018 at Noosa, Queensland.
I will be one of 55 competitors invited to compete coming from 14 countries, and the youngest of 17 females in the field.

In conjunction with the race, I will be raising money for professional triathlete Lauren Parker who was involved in a freak cycling accident last year.
Lauren suffered a fractured scapula and pelvis, broken ribs, punctured lung, broken T12 vertebrae and severe spinal damage. Lauren has been given a 1% chance of walking again but despite this, shows enormous courage determined to defy the odds. Lauren is currently working towards qualifying for the Commonwealth Games and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic games where she will no doubt do Australia proud.

Lauren will be using the funds raised towards new equipment she requires, ongoing rehab, and future spinal treatment.
