Emily Fights Cancer and will win.

Emily,  who just turned 7 was diagnosed with kidney cancer this month and had surgery at Miami Childrens Hospital June 16, 2017 to have the tumor and kidney removed. She is now facing 18 weeks of chemotherapy and needs all of the love and support she can get. She is a strong 7 year old girl who will fight to survive. Her parents, Yoan Gomez and Yanay Arrebato will need to travel from Key West to Miami every Thursday for Emilys treatments. Yanay has worked with us here at Monroe County Detention Center and Armor Correctional Health Care for many years and is truly a part of our family. Let's see our Key West Community come together to support this beautiful girl and her family during the fight of thier lives. All proceeds will go directly to her parents to help with travel, food, lodging and living  expenses during these critical 18 weeks. Prayers for Emily and her family are appreciated.
