An exciting opportunity has come up for me to go on a Mission Team to Malawi, Africa June-July 2016 for five weeks with Circle of Hope International. We’ll be working at the Grace Center in Dowa, Malawi. I am so excited for this privilege to gain experience in medical care alongside an American doctor, but especially to love and care for those who need it most.
Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world. The Grace Center, through Circle of Hope ministers to abused, orphaned and vulnerable children through education, feeding programs and orphanages. Their vision is to share the Good News of Jesus through works of mercy and justice.
As you may know, I am a nursing major at Indiana Wesleyan University. The opportunity to experience transcultural nursing in one of the most desperate countries in the world is a big step in my medical education. I am very excited to love and care for these children, and I know that I will learn so much in the five weeks that I will be there. I will even get to meet the girl that I sponsor, Catherine! Her picture is to the left.
I need to raise $4400 for this trip. Would you be willing to participate? The money will be used to cover airfare, in-country expenses such as travel, food and lodging. A portion of the money goes directly to the project to help the children. Your gift is tax-deductible and will be receipted by Circle of Hope International. More than anything, I need your prayers. Please pray for our Malawian partners at the Grace Center. Pray for our team as we travel and minister in Malawi in June and July 2016. Pray for the orphaned children in Malawi. Pray for the individuals and families we will be sharing the gospel with that they may come to know Jesus as their Savior.
