Emerson's Colon Cancer Fundraiser

Dear Friends and Family,
When Emerson first created this GoFundMe, he had just come out of remission, with the discovery that his colon cancer was now metastatic. On 9/1/21, he underwent a cytoreductive abdominal surgery, in which it became apparent that the cancer has spread to multiple abdominal organs and is inoperable. This was a surprise to all of us.
We were further surprised when after spending March in the hospital, it suddenly became apparent that Emerson's cancer has metastasized to a point at which we can now only offer comfort care. We are so sorry to say this is where we are now.
Thank you for your incredible generosity. If you can offer any donations, it would go toward his inpatient stays, his night nurses in hospice, and living expenses. All funds go directly to Emerson. This is the most direct way to donate monetarily to Emerson.
