Emergency vet costs for Diesel

"So, for those of you who dont know, on Christmas eve our labrador Diesel was in a pretty intense fight with another dog. We took him on Christmas morning to the emergency clinic where he was treated for the wounds to his ear and side of his face. However, the tooth of the other dog actually punctured the flesh around his eye and scratched the cornea. So for this, we had to drive down to west Lafayette for a consult with an ophthalmologist, who proceeded to tell us that diesel has a very aggressive infection around his eye and prescribed multiple antibiotic eye drops, which I am required to administer hourly--every SINGLE hour..until monday morning when we go back to see if we have been able to save his eye. We are already $1000+ in, and if the medication doesn't work, removal of his eye(which doesn't guarantee saving his life..)would cost 2200+, which we do not have..this would leave us with our only option being to put our beloved pooch to sleep." ---
I am doing this on behalf of my sister, who would never ask for help herself.  She is always the one to help others, no matter the cost to her own needs and wants.  She has helped me in more ways that I can begin to describe, and I am doing this for her because it is the only way I know how, being that I am in a rough spot myself financially.  Diesel has been part of her family for 10 years now, and is her 6 year old son's best friend.  He has been there since the day he was born.  Being that Christmas has just passed, she is unable to pay for his emergency vet costs and her bills have been pushed aside as well to save him.  Anything donated would be immensely appreciated.  Even if you are unable to help financially, please just send prayers to her and her family and for Diesel through this rough time.  They need just a few more years with their old boy ♡♡♡
