Emergency surgery for my kitten Milo

My nine month old cat Milo has unfortunately been diagnosed with Hypospadias. It is a disease which affects his urethra which does not end at the penis but rather earlier near his anus which causes a lot of urinary tract infections.

He is in constant pain and is tormented when he has to go to the toilet, while I am completely powerless and have to watch his suffering several times a day. His greatest enemy is the litter box which he believes is responsible for the pain without understanding that the pain unfortunately arises from his own body and not from where he discharges his needs.

It has been a number of vet visits for him and now we have finally found a hospital that can help him, however the insurance does not cover the surgery at all due to it being a birth defect (which wasn't caught at the initial vet visit).

I have been able to pay for the vet visits so far, but I am struggeling with the amount needed for his surgery. Every Dollar helps! I have now helped him as much as I could and would love to see my little angel come out on the bright side of the tunnel. He deserves it. He deserves not to be tormented every day and visit the vet constantly. He deserves a normal cat life <3

Thanks to the animal hospital Anicura in Sweden, we have come to the conclusion that an operation will be possible on September 15 and he has a high chance of being completely healthy, giving him a second chance in life!

Hypospadias is a birth defect in boys in which the opening of the urethra is not located at the tip of the penis. In boys with hypospadias, the urethra forms abnormally during weeks 8–14 of pregnancy. The abnormal opening can form anywhere from just below the end of the penis to the scrotum. There are different degrees of hypospadias; some can be minor and some more severe.

Min nio månader gamla katt Milo har tyvärr diagnostiserads med Hypospadias. Det är en sjukdom som innebär att hans urinrör mynnar ut i anslutning till analöppningen vilket som orsakar en hel del urinvägsinfektioner.

Han har konstant smärta och plågas när han skall gå på toaletten medan jag är helt maktlös och behöver se på hans lidande flertal gånger om dagen. Hans största fiende är kattlådan som han anser är ansvarig för smärtan utan att han förstår att smärtan tyvärr uppstår från hans egna kropp och inte från vart han utför sina behov.

Det har varit en del veterinärsbesök för hans del och nu har vi äntligen hittat ett sjukhus som kan hjälpa honom, dock täcker inte försäkringen operationen över huvud taget på grund av medfödd defekt (vilket inte hittades vid första veterinärsundersökning).

Veterinärsbesöken har jag kunnat betala för hittills men jag har svårt för att kunna betala beloppet för operationen. Varenda krona hjälper! Jag har nu hjälpt honom så mycket jag kunde och vill gärna se min lilla ängel komma ut på den ljusa sidan av tunneln. Det förtjänar han. Han förtjänar att inte plågas varje dag och besöka veterinären konstant. Han förtjänar ett normalt kattliv <3

Tack vare djursjukhuset Anicura i Sverige så har vi kommit fram till att det kommer kunna göras en operation den 15 september och han har en hög chans att bli helt frisk vilket skulle ge honom en andra chans i sitt liv!
