Emergency surgery and evacuation

My mom Amy was hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park 9/10 to the top of an alpine lake. On her way down she slipped fell into a waterfall/ravine and severely broke her tibia and fibula a multiple compound fracture.
Thanks to the grit of fellow hikers, heroic park rangers and volunteer search and rescue services she was rescued before shock and cold temperatures set in. She was airlifted out of an alpine area by Colorado flight for life after a long grueling haul up the mountain to an area where the helicopter could land.
Mom is an avid lifelong hiker and lover of the mountains. She was enjoying her day off from her full time job where she was working for retirement and also to provide for my Dad Ken who is just getting back on his feet after a series of strokes. She has been a hardworking, loving caretaker for everyone in our family and now she needs us to take care of her.
The medical bills and income loss will be devastating for my parents during her stay in the hospital and the transition to recovering at home. My family would appreciate any help providing assistance with medical bills.
There will be adaptations to their home that being in a wheelchair require while she goes through physical therapy. Many of these items are not covered by insurance.
There will be a calendar of her transition home and lists of needs with other ways to help for anyone who is interested. Email [email redacted] if you find you are!
Anything would be deeply appreciated!
Additional funds that exceed the goal, Amy has asked to the Rocky Mountain Conservancy https://rmconservancy.org
