Emergency Relief for Haitian Refugees

Tax deductible
Over the past few days thousands of Haitians have been crossing the Rio Grande from Mexico towards the United States. Fleeing from a country ravaged by natural disaster and political unrest, they were confronted by federal and state law enforcement, some on horseback. Expulsion flights have started sending these people, and families, back to Haiti, where many do not have a plan.

The Haitian American Museum of Chicago (HAMOC) sends its deepest empathy to all those who have made the voyage to the United States just to be sent back to Haiti.

As a response, this GoFundMe campaign will directly support Haitian refugees here in the City of Chicago. The museum will be working with local and state organizations to make sure that any refugee Haitian family coming to Chicago will be supported.

Every $1,000 will help support another family in need. If you are able and willing, please donate what you can.

Mesi anpil, thank you very much.
