Robin O. Bishop has been a public, private, contract, and corporate educator / administrator for most of his adult life. His wife ("Bert") has been a special education classroom teacher and autism specialist. We have been a small family committed to big service for others. It seems suddenly both of us have been thrown into 100% disability. At age 63, Robin was diagnosed with moderate Parkinson's disease. Eight years later, Robin presently lives with his wife at the Gables of Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Bishops will be celebrating 50 years of marriage September 3rd, 2021. They have one son, Griffin.

Robin's physical strength continues to gradually deteriorate to the point where he is manually operated wheelchair bound. He can no longer operate his manually operated wheelchair. Robin no longer types but dictates this entire text. Where Robin's continuing needs center around physical mobility; his mental agility and ability to express himself remains largely unchanged.

Forced into retirement, Robin now  receives Medicare and Medicaid. Consequentially, he is only required to pay a small percentage of the cost of  equipment team. The cost of his personal care requires all of his retirement and Social Security to subsidize his present level of care, room and board less $150 for nominal personal expenses monthly.

The purchase of the electric wheelchair (Pride Jazzy Air2 - Spinlife extended range) has been the recommendation of his primary care physician, given the anticipation of several more potentially productive years with that assist.

This wheelchair is needed immediately enabling Robin sufficient tools to independently manage personal movement  to sustain and enable a new business plan  on Amazon in the collection, processing and packaging for sale of elk and deer antlers naturally shed in Idaho.  Various length (6-9 ") segments will be marketed as natural, healthy alternative dog chewies appropriate for a full population of dogs. This is an Amazon business that has expanded 20 fold in the past year. Robin's business plan contains a number of unique and attractive features.

Success of this business is significantly dependent upon Robin's personal mobility, not in collecting antlers thankfully, but in building a cooperative collection effort to effectively meet customer desires by maintaining sufficient inventory. Profits from this business well initially earned two fundraisers, matching their donation(s).

Avid chess playing has kept Robin's mind active and his spirits high in the face of his challenges. He would like to provide "proof of life" by challenging each contributor to games of online chess. This is not meant to show himself to be a competent chess player, so much as a friendly one. Games can be played at Chess.com where Robin has a subscription. Contributors will have guest privileges.
