Emergency Medical Evacuation for Mustafa

Mustafa Muhammad, known to close friends and family as Redman or Pharoah, was shot and critically wounded on April 26th, 2022.

The purpose of his trip was to visit family and work on home renovations, this took a life changing turn, when he was the target of a planned robbery, which took place at a gas station in Trinidad, ONE day after his arrival from the United States, where he resides.

Once the robbers fled, he was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors there were able to stabilize him and determine the extent of his injuries.

Mustafa was shot in the neck and spine, and At present he is now a Quadriplegic, as all four limbs are affected by paralysis. He is unable to move from the neck down!

He has difficulty speaking since his voice box was damaged, and currently, he is now battling a lung infection that makes his case even more critical.

His medical team in Trinidad has indicated that they are not medically equipped to do anything further for him and have insisted that based on the severity of his condition and his specific surgical and therapeutic needs, it is crucial he returns to the United States to receive the intense medical care he desperately needs, in order to have a Fighting chance.

We have created this fundraiser to assist with medical evacuation expenses to get him back to New York.

Medical Evacuation is not covered by his insurance and the cost for his case, to New York, is $60,000 USD.

With already daily mounting medical bills, at the current facility in Trinidad where he is admitted, the family finances are completely depleted and cannot afford to pay for his medical evacuation.
