Emergency Hospital Fund for Kandla

India is in crisis - and we have to help.
With cases rising exponentially, we are working with the commissioner of the Special Economic Zone in Kandla, to help keep the community we work with as safe as possible. India is in the midst of a deadly wave of Covid-19, and the healthcare system is collapsing under the pressure, with fatalities rising every day.
We are raising much needed funds for equipment for an emergency hospital for the SEZ, and would appreciate any donations or support you can give. We have set aside $5000 ourselves as a business, and hope to raise another $20000 as soon as possible, to give vital equipment such as PPE and medicine to help the medical team be able to give the necessary care to Covid patients, and minimise the risk to the rest of the community.
We've been lucky enough to work in India for the last 17 years, in the raghouses that bring us so much secondhand clothing to resell and recycle, and in our own factory where we upcycle at scale. Without the incredible skills and efforts of our diligent team and colleagues, we have not been able to create so many sustainable solutions - they are integral to the global circular economy and the sustainable fashion industry. We hope we can be there for them in their time of need, and encourage our global network to support us in this endeavour.
