Emergency: Help Mariam survive and study architecture

I am raising money for my sister Mariam to survive the war in Gaza and help her study architecture, and this is her story:

I am Mariam, a university student from Gaza. I am 20 years old, and despite surviving six months of war, I am still alive. I was studying architectural engineering, which has been my dream since childhood. I completed my first year of studies at the Islamic University, but as I began my second year, the war erupted, and like all students in Gaza, I had to stop my education. Our university was heavily bombed during the conflict, rendering it completely unusable.

My dreams and aspirations were shattered along with the destruction of the university. My educational future became uncertain, and I faced an unknown fate. My family and I narrowly escaped death when our neighboring house was bombed. It was a harrowing night, with multiple shells falling around us, causing partial damage to our own home. Urgently, we had to flee under the hail of projectiles, seeking safety in Rafah. I left behind everything related to my studies, unable to retrieve essential documents, tools, or my computer. I don’t know if I’ll ever return to my home to reclaim them.

After much contemplation, I made the difficult decision to leave my family and travel outside of Gaza to continue my education. It was not an easy choice, but I had no other option. My studies are my sole hope in life after my city was destroyed and my family scattered.

Now, I need $5000 to leave Gaza through the Rafah border crossing into Egypt, in addition to covering the travel expenses to Germany for university registration and a fresh start.

The campaign’s goal is to raise funds to assist me in traveling and completing my studies, ensuring a better future.
