Emergency Funds for Renea Webber

For those of you who haven’t heard, Renae Webber was diagnosed with GBM (Glioblastoma Multiforme) brain cancer this week. Unfortunately, it’s the worst kind of brain cancer to end up with and is very aggressive. She goes to Wichita next Thursday to meet with the neurosurgeon and to schedule surgery (which will be scheduled immediately, I’m guessing next week). After surgery and a prolonged surgical recovery, she will most likely begin a regiment of chemo and radiation. She is pretty devastated and overwhelmed right now to say the least. She has been in contact with her atty today (per the Drs advice) to get her affairs in order. There's a good chance since they caught the cancer early on, that it will be treatable and give her some extended time. Sadly, there is no cure for GBM cancer.
Needless to say, when she goes out on FMLA at work, she will have zero income and is stressing big time about her house pymt, utilities, monthly bills etc., but most of all, her 2 young grandchildren that she has custody of. I told her DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE MONEY! So with that said, I'm reaching out to everyone and asking for emergency donations to help with her expenses. I’ve seen this small community pull together many times to help our friends and neighbors in need and I’m counting on everyone to do it again. Renea has been at the forefront to help others through the years so I’m hoping we can do the same for her and those grandkids. We will also be organizing a Benefit and Poker Run for her in early June (date TBD).
