Emergency :"Evacuate Sohad's Family out of Gaza"

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted souls,

I am Huda , and today I come to you with a plea close to my heart. My beloved aunt , Sohad, and her family are facing unimaginable challenges in the midst of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. The circumstances they find themselves in are dire, and I am reaching out to you for your compassionate support.
Sohad, her husband Omar, and their children had to flee their home in the north of Gaza due to relentless bombings. Forced to evacuate to Khan Younis and later to Rafah, they now find themselves crowded into a small shared room with no access to water. The toll of the war has left them struggling to meet even their most basic needs.
Sohad, who battles celiac illness, urgently requires specific, gluten-free food to manage her condition. Unfortunately, amidst the chaos of war, finding such necessities has become nearly impossible. Sohad is enduring consistent stomach pain, losing weight rapidly, and facing the grim reality of deteriorating health.
Omar, Sohad's husband, is grappling with blood pressure and diabetes, without proper access to medication.

Their son, Mohammed, faces the challenges of providing for his own family—three young children aged 7, 5, and 2—under circumstances that no child should ever endure. The lack of proper food and living conditions, coupled with the constant cold and booming, has disrupted the children's sleep and well-being. Additionally, Mohammed urgently needs an ear surgery, scheduled for November before the war. However, due to the deteriorating health situation in Gaza, the surgery had to be postponed, leading to a severe ear infection and a significant loss of concentration.

Adding to the family's woes, Momen, the youngest child and a fourth-year dentistry student, had to abandon his studies due to the war. His university, along with the vital equipment for his studies, has been destroyed, leaving him without a path forward.

The family's clothing business, once a source of livelihood, has been decimated by the conflict, leaving them without the means to sustain themselves even if a ceasefire were to occur.
Why do we need your help? The family is in urgent need of funds for evacuation to Egypt, the closest border to Gaza, where they believe they can find safety and start anew life. The financial breakdown includes $50,000 for evacuation costs
$10,000 for rent and basic living expenses for three months,
$10,000 for medical needs, including Mohammed's surgery and therapy for the children's mental health.
Furthermore, $1,600 is required for GoFundMe fees, and $8,400 is essential to rebuild their clothing business.
Amidst the turmoil and conflict surrounding Gaza in April, particularly during the Eid al-Fitr celebration, a time of joy and festivity for Muslims after Ramadan, I felt compelled to take action. Determined to bring some semblance of normalcy and happiness to the children in my neighborhood on this special day, I decided to organize a team and host activities. My first step was to gather supplies; I purchased popcorn and gathered paper to meticulously plan the event. Additionally, I acquired costumes featuring beloved characters like the Smurfs, ensuring the children would delight in the festivities. Aware of the constant threat of bombings and violence in the area, I took further precautions. Securing a large speaker, I arranged to play music throughout the event, creating a comforting atmosphere and drowning out the sounds of conflict. In the face of adversity, my goal was to provide a brief respite for the children, allowing them to momentarily escape the harsh realities of their surroundings and embrace the joy of Eid.

Reflecting on my recent experiences, I couldn't help but recall the harrowing events of December 1st when my family and I received a notification warning of imminent bombing in our area of Kanyounis. Fearing for our safety, we hastily left, seeking refuge elsewhere. Just days later, our fears were realized as the area was relentlessly targeted, leaving destruction in its wake. Recently, I received a picture of the house we had relocated to in Kanyounis. However, upon closer examination, I was dismayed to find nothing but rubble and debris where our home should have stood. The stark reality of our displacement hit me hard, underscoring the ongoing hardships faced by countless families in conflict-stricken regions like ours.

I
I implore you to join hands with me in providing a lifeline to Sohad and her family. Your generous contributions will go towards securing essential food supplies, medical assistance, and the means for Momen to resume his education, along with facilitating their evacuation and helping them rebuild their lives. Together, we can bring a glimmer of hope to a family enduring the darkest of times.
I'm back again after enduring 173 days of the war.
Amidst enduring 150 days of unyielding attack, I resolved to take action and volunteered at a local hospital, even as chaos enveloped the surroundings. Upon arrival, it was apparent that the situation mirrored the devastation outside, with medical resources depleted and the availability of essential medications scarce. Despite these challenges, I remained committed to offering assistance, driven by a profound desire to alleviate suffering and provide aid to those in need.

Within the confines of the hospital, the shortage of medical supplies posed a formidable obstacle. Yet, undeterred by the grim reality, I dedicated myself to offering comfort and care to patients grappling with the aftermath of sustained conflict. My decision to volunteer was not without risk, but it was fueled by a sense of duty and compassion for those affected by the crisis.

On the over hand, in the initial days of the war, my neighborhood faced the harrowing reality of being bombed. The devastation was palpable, but as time passed, the situation only grew more dire. With each passing day, the frequency and intensity of the bombings increased, leaving nothing but destruction in their wake. What was once a thriving community became uninhabitable, with homes reduced to rubble and lives shattered by the relentless violence. The tragic escalation of the conflict rendered our neighborhood unrecognizable and devoid of any semblance of safety or security.

Despite the dire circumstances, my resolve remained steadfast. I persevered in my efforts to make a positive impact, offering solace and support to those whose lives had been upended by the ravages of war. In the face of adversity, I found strength in the belief that even amidst chaos, acts of kindness and compassion have the power to bring hope and healing to those in need.
More over, Amidst the turmoil of war, my cherished companion, my cat of over 6 months, tragically succumbed to hunger in Gaza. Despite my efforts to provide, resources were scarce amidst the conflict. The loss of my beloved cat serves as a poignant reminder of the toll of war on both human and animal live
