Emergency Dental Assistance for Ina Bieler

Donation protected

Dear Friends and Family,

I am raising funds for emergency dental treatment for one of my dearest friends, Ina Bieler, whom I consider to be a great humanitarian. She is presently working (mainly volunteering her time) as a self-employed freelance translator and interpreter in the USA and she is in urgent need of emergency dental treatment in order to continue her exceptional interpretation that has generously benefitted so many over the years.

After already receiving a dental surgery in Asia for a painful abbess that she struggled with for over a year, shortly after her recent return to the USA , her front incisor tooth completely broke off. This has severely impaired her speech and caused her extreme discomfort once again. The tooth has been temporarily affixed, but she is unable to eat well and the tooth is in very fragile condition.  For those who don't already know Ina, her occupation requires her to communicate eloquently, often facing crowds of hundreds of people (see below photo), so the sudden loss of a front tooth along with the discomfort presents a real obstacle to her livelihood and wellbeing.  I find her suffering in this regard quite unbearable, and I hope that some of my kind friends and family members might be moved to help me to help her out since I do not often reach out in this manner. (I understand however, that this has unfortunately become the norm in the USA when people have a medical emergency, and for some, it has proven to be a lifesaving resource.)

As many do, being self-employed, she has  found it nearly impossible to maintain  the ongoing health and dental insurance required when living within the USA, especially while she is away most of the year translating in Asia and elsewhere. For the purposes of her work and stay in the US, she has also been required to give up access to her health care in Austria. Even so, the minimum required procedure for a dental implant and possible bone graft would not have been fully covered under a basic plan. So far, she has received a treatment estimate of around 4'000 USD (simple  implants are normally between 3'500 to 4'500 USD)  that will be required for an implant treatment plan over a period of several months, but it will likely cost more if there is to be a bone graft. She is also looking onto possible emergency alternatives, like having treatment abroad. Ina has expressed that she is extremely grateful for any financial assistance that I can gather at this point in time.

I sincerely want Ina to see receive only the best of medical and dental care. I can't bear to see her suffering anymore and I am extremely concerned for her wellbeing at this time. I hope that I can reciprocate just a small bit of Ina's kindness and generosity over all of these years through this small gift in the spirit of the season and help her to resolve an issue that has been of constant concern to her this year.  Please consider helping if you can, I will personally appreciate it more than words can express.

Sincerely,

Amber Moore
