Emergency Assistance Needed! Baby mauled by dog

Hi, my name is Cory.

I created this fundraiser to assist in a severely overwhelming family emergency.

My sister, Madison, a single mother of 3 children, is currently going through one of the most traumatic experiences with my nephew whom is her youngest(17 Months old) child. His name is ISAIAH!

On the morning of Wednesday, May 17th 2023(today) in the quaint little town of Mazomanie, Wisconsin, Isaiah, was left in the care of his usual babysitter as his Mom (Madison) headed off to a nearby factory (Plastic Ingenuity) to commence her work day as usual not knowing the devastating news she was about to receive.

Madison received one of the most horrific phone calls a mother could possibly endure. Isaiah, was unfortunately mauled by a Black Labrador out of nowhere. Almost instantaneously, half his face had a gaping hole in it & was shredded - it was literally just gone in the blink of an eye leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination. Before the bite occurred the dog that mauled him was very friendly and licking Isaiah so the sitter, like any of us animal lovers, couldn’t have possibly predicted that the dog was going to attack the baby. The babysitter was there in the baby’s presence the entire time not knowing the looming dangers ⚠️ , all of the sudden the attack happened so fast that it could not have been predicted or prevented as there was zero signs of aggression from the canine before the event.

The ambulance was immediately called & the baby was rushed to UW-Madison where surgery was performed.

Isaiah, is in recovery and will thankfully make it. He has a long road (a lifetime) of recovery ahead of him as this day has now changed the path of his entire life.

As aforementioned, his mom is a single mother of 3. She will not be able to work while Isaiah is recovering, and I’d imagine she is not going to trust leaving her children with anyone again after this alarming and traumatic experience.

Madison will need assistance with medical bill coverage, and day to day bills like housing & food while she cares for Isaiah & gathers the strength to pull her small family through this unfortunate life event.

I know it’s hard times for all atm & we dislike asking for help, but if possible please assist in helping her by sharing and donating.
