emergency 1 chance for perfect land appeal

We are very excited to say that after a long search, many phone calls, notes, trips to the town hall/land registry and negotiating we have finally come to an arrangement where we can buy our neighbouring land.
Let us say that again, WE HAVE FINALLY FOUND LAND TO BUY! This is incredible because as soon as we sign over we can immediately rescue the horses on our waiting list we previously had to turn away.
Maybe you already know this, but we are a small sanctuary that was founded by Emma and Edo is 2018 and we didn't know quite how much in demand we were. We did not expect to get so big so quickly and this is all down to a great team of volunteers helping us build from an empty piece of land to a fully functioning sanctuary and kind donators who without we could not have afforded to do this. It has all been 100% self funded, we have had no help from the government and we have to be running for 2 more years before they will help us.
The support up until now has been incredible and we are blown away daily with the support and we are incredibly excited that we have the chance to expand and rescue as many horses as we can afford, space will no longer be an issue.
We will be buying 3 times the land we already have. This will be huge and we have already in place the plans.
We will be building a big track system/ paradise paddock to encourage movement for the horses who do not enjoy leaving the Finca, in easy rehabilitation or need time to recover and just be a horse.
We will also build a big retirement paddock which will be set in a big "hole" which offers itself to make more holiday rental caves around the outside. Which will all help to bring in an income to continue the cycle of rescuing horses.
So these are our plans to expand Tenerife horse rescue and offer place to as many horses who will need us, this is big news, However there is a complication, we only found out last night ( 12/11/20202) and we have 10 days to decide and sign on our new land to start the process. But unfortunately we are 20,000 euros to short. Due to land shortage on the island and that our finca is in the path of the windmills, the land is not cheap. We have 3 amazing sponsors who working together have raised over 3/4 of the asking price but we need the remaining 20,000 to make it possible.
We are very aware this is a huge ask and very unlikely in 10 days, but we have to try as it is a once in a lifetime chance for us, because if we do not buy it, it will go to a windmill farm and we will not get the chance again to have so much land directly touching ours.
We have created many different options to donate to this cause, even if you can not donate please share, share it on your blog, facebook page, instagram, facebook groups and tell your friends. Maybe you know that person, who knows that person who can change the life of the future horses who need to be rescued in Tenerife.
Below are real photo of horses on our waiting list who's lives will be personally changed if we somehow manage to pull this off in 10 days. These are only the ones we have pictures of, there are already 4 more we know without even looking. Please help us to not have to make the hard decision of " who looks bad enough to deserve a space and chance of happiness", We have the want, the volunteers, the knowledge and everything else needed to give these horses a chance, it breaks our heart having to say No, just because we do not have the space. Now we have a chance to change this forever.
