I went to a Neurologist because I became very dizzy all the time, and couldn't really function well with my right hand. Simple things like writing and typing (even my eyeliner!) have become difficult. After an MRI, the Neurologist showed me that I have a brain tumor that needs surgery. At the same time, I am taking care of my mother who several specialists for her mental and physical problems. I take her to all (a lot) of her appointments, manage her medications, and instill her Glaucoma drops. I am busy at work, and am actually about to train someone. Needless to say, I just don't have time for this, but things don't always happen when it's convenient! I have tried to find an insurance plan or Obamacare to cover this, however I couldn't find anything to help for 2017. The Neurosurgeon said that the surgery doesn't need to be postponed until January 1st due to the complications that may arrise. If the spinal fluid backs up, I only have a short time before it becomes fatal. I have to pay for the Neurosurgeon before they will schedule a date to do surgery for me. I love that I got prayers and links for different organizations from you, and I am doing what I can with them, but it was suggested by some friends and family that I try a Go Fund Me. I am doing this myself, since I wanted to tell you about things first hand. I am told I will probably be unable to work for approximately 6 weeks. This Go Fund Me will help tremendously.
