ELVIS NEEDS URGENT MEDICAL CARE!

Elvis, a tiny, young (1-2 years old) short hair black male neutered kitty (with no ear tip or microchip) walked into my garage last Thursday, August 16, 2018, emaciated, starving, dehydrated, and crying for help. Elvis was so weak he had to eat lying down. His ribs were visible. He was covered in ticks. And the worst thing is that his right eye was in really bad shape: closed shut and upon examination (at the vet's office later that day) found to have a serious and deep corneal ulcer.
Elvis Franklin (named for Elvis Presley and Aretha Franklin as he walked into my garage the morning Aretha died and on the anniversary of Elvis's death) is a brave little guy with so much heart and soul. He is a fighter but a lover too! Elvis loves to be petted and talks a lot! He deserves the very best care so he can get well and live his life, free of pain, suffering and stress. Please help him.
So far, vet bill has been $172.00 (full blood panel $292.00 and eye stain $50.00 which confirmed deep corneal ulcer). Vet discounted at 50%.
Full blood panel and urine must be re-done soon to see if values have stabilized. (Blood done on 8/16/18 found that Elvis's kidney, liver and thyroid values were so out of whack that any sedation to save or remove eye was impossible. So the instructions for me was aggressive supportive care: fluids, eye meds 6-8 times per day including eye meds for eye pain 2x day, appetite stimulant, nausea meds, herbal thyroid support and more until Elvis got stronger and stabilized.)
To repeat stain and bloodwork will be another $172.00. Also, vet wants to do some x-rays to see if there are any tumors causing the kitty's emaciated condition. The estimate is approximately $350.
The vet has urged Elvis be seen by Dr. Lacroix, an esteemed eye specialist at VCMLI in West Islip. Just to walk in the door for a consult and some basic tests by Dr. Lacroix is $400-$500. (Many of you have gone to Dr. Lacroix so you know her great work. Elvis is worth it!)
PLEASE help as much as you can. I simply cannot afford to pay for this myself. I have done what I can to offer Elvis good supportive care until money can be raised. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!
