Elvira’s Cancer Treatment Cost

This is my cousin, Elvira Becirovic, formerly Elvira Mujcic . She’s 35 years old and is suffering from a very aggressive form of Bone Cancer. She resides in Brcko, Bosnia, where she was born and raised. Unfortunately in Bosnia, the healthcare system isn’t as progressive as Western European countries or the United States. She needs to have an operation on her back to mitigate the pain from the cancer that has ravaged her body. She needs to travel to Croatia to get the surgery but insurance will not cover it. We are graciously asking for help to cover the cost of her surgery so she can have more time with her two young boys.

I will be managing this page on the behalf of my mother, aunt, and cousin Elvira. Anything I share will have been approved by Elvira before I post. 

I will be updating this page periodically with  medical records, more recent photos, and Elvira’s personal updates on her day to day feelings up until the surgery and beyond.
