Help baby Elowen and her parents say laters to Leukemia

On the 5th of May, in the midst of COVID-19 lockdowns, William and Bronwyn Boston received the life-changing news that eight-month-old Elowen had a rare form of blood cancer - Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

This bright, bubbly baby who was just starting to stand is now facing the fight of her life and her parents are staring down the barrel of a four-month hospital stay at the Children's Hospital in Brisbane.

They need to uproot their life in Burleigh Heads to spend this time at Elowen's side, delaying Bronwyn's return to work after maternity leave. Living away from home can be expensive, and we would love for our community to step in and help the Boston's so that they can keep the focus where it matters most - their little girl.

As a teacher and a pharmacist, this couple has poured their hearts into the community. Please join us in giving back to them, and helping little Elowen win this battle.

Give what you can, and if you can't, give blood.

Please note - details of fund distribution
Bronwyn's sister Rachel Morrison has set up this fund on behalf of the family. It will be used to cover normal living expenses while Bronwyn and William are unable to work, as well as any additional medical expenses that may arise for Elowen during her journey to recovery.

Funds are being transferred directly from Go Fund Me into William's bank account.

We have been overwhelmed with the response to this campaign, and thank you all for your kind donations.
