Elmgren Twins-born at 23w 3days
Our twins were born at 23weeks and 3 days after I was in the hospital for 11 days with complications. After struggling to keep babies from coming early I became septic. Being I was so ill they needed our babies to come out immediately. We are at the best hospital but both my husband and I have been living at the hospital for 2 weeks and have a long road ahead of us. Our babies were born on 9/10/17. Baby Loretta June at 12:52pm weighing 1lb 3 oz and John Theodore III "Teddy" at 12:55pm weighing 1lb 8 oz. They both are warriors. We are heartbroken that our little Teddy gained his angel wings at 12:37am on 9/12/17. We held him for 5 hours until he passed away. He had a brain bleed and they could not get BP or O2 stabalized. Loretta is still holding strong which we are grateful for. We have been on an emotional Rollercoaster and want to be able to focus on our little girl staying strong which means both my husband and I haven't left the hospital or been working and are 2 hours from home. We have had to swallow our pride and accept help and appreciate anything to help us get as much time as we can to continue to keep our little girl strong and planning arrangements for our precious little boy. Our hearts ache and we are so grateful for the love, thoughts, support and prayers we have received the last couple weeks and will continue to need. God bless!
