Elmer mutt fund! A story of neglect

This dog was found alone on the side of the road in St Croix, Hants Co., obviously lame, with a painful skin condition, overgrown nails, an ear infection, and in distress. Luckily he was found by a caring person (thank you Melanie Ross!) who contacted a local small animal veterinarian and dog rescuer (Dr. Brittni) for help.  He is now in her care and being treated for multiple medical conditions. This is a fund to help cover his medical bills, which are increasing as we try to determine the underlying cause of his hair loss and skin disease. We appreciate any donation and all proceeds will be used directly for the care, treatment and rehabilitation of this poor old guy. We're going to do everything we can to ensure he recovers and lives out the rest of his days in comfort with a loving family. We think this sweet, gentle, old soul (who's not so old, estimating 10 years) deserves to have the best life possible given everything we imagine he's been through, and we hope you do to!
