Ellie’s Wig

My lovely friend Ellie was diagnosed with Hodgkinson’s Lymphoma earlier this year, aged just 22. To help make her time during treatment easier, I am raising funds to go towards a bespoke human hair wig for her. 

Ellie is the life and soul of a party, kind and caring. Let’s pay some of that back to her whilst she battles this horrible disease.

Cancer is cruel enough, but to lose your hair throgh chemotherapy adds another layer of cruelty. Human hair wigs that are realistic and easy to manage are sadly not cheap and cost £500+ as they are handmade. After trying many other alternatives, this wig will be a way Ellie will be able to feel herself as she sadly loses her own hair. These are also much more comfortable than synthetic wigs with the most realistic look.

Ellie has already purchased one ready made human hair wig out of her own pocket which didn’t fit her properly. Hopefully we can raise enough funds to get her one that makes her feel as her fabulous self as possible. 

Any additional funds raised will go to Ellie to purchase anything she needs whilst she goes through her treatments.
