Ellie’s Leukaemia Fundraiser

Hi everyone, myself & my mum are aware that a few people have set up these pages in support of my little sister who’s currently fighting leukaemia. While this was greatly appreciated, we weren’t too sure how we felt about it at first, however over time it’s become clear that this is something that would greatly benefit my sister.
We understand that times are really tough for people at the moment, but anything that could be spared would make such a difference and we’d be so grateful. With my mum having to leave work in order to become Ellie’s full time caregiver, the costs of travel to and from hospitals, maintenance on wheelchairs etc, has been extremely tough. Initially, we didn’t want to set up this page but our pride has to be put aside, whether it’s to keep Ellie entertained in, or out of hospital or to help her get to appointments, it would really help and take off a lot of stress.
It’s not a decision that’s been made lightly but as a lot of you know, Ellie has been fighting so hard & we owe it to her to make this journey as comfortable for her as possible.
Nothing is too small & we’ll appreciate it so much.
