Ellie's Heartlight Fund

It is difficult to write this about my own daughter, but my love and concern for her dictate that I share this with you. Over the last few months, Ellie has been exhibiting behavior and making choices that go beyond normal teenage rebellion. These choices and behaviors have become, in some cases, life threatening. After much prayer, counsel, and input from trusted advisors, her mother and I believe that a treatment facility is the best option for her healing.
We have researched many options and the one that seems the best fit for Ellie and which she is most drawn to is Heartlight Ministries in Longview, Texas. Heartlight is a residential counseling center for struggling teens. You can visit their website at www.heartlightministries.org.
The cost for a year long program is $60,000. While that seems overwhelming to us and is completely beyond our ability to provide, we are reaching out to friends like you believing that, together, we can raise the support that may very well save Ellie's life.
