Ella's Fractured Patella

Ella's foster said she didn't see exactly what happened but she tried to jump out of her xpen. This is an uncommon and very unfortunate injury to get. Being uncommon there aren't many other cases of treatment and so we also don't know long term what this means for her. 

Right now we are trying our best with conservative treatment to see if we can avoid a surgery. If she needs surgery it will be at OVC and cost $1500-2000. 

She has received 2 holistic treatments in a week and now we are hoping onto weekly appointments on top of at home physio, massage, icing, moist heat, etc will help her avoid surgery to pin her leg. 

Ella's vet appointment cost $300 and she will need to remain on Metacam and Gabapentin as long as she needs the extra pain assistance. Her area has been reorganized to ensure there is no more jumping until she is recovered form this injury. 

We need your assistance to keep up with her vet appointment, holistic treatments, pain medications, vet rechecks, diagnostic rechecks, etc.
