As you might already know, I have recently embarked on my journey at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Thus far, it has been challenging, but extremely rewarding and FUN! I have grown so much in the short time I have been here and have already partaken of incredible, life-changing experiences.
Last month, I was accepted and offered a position on the BYU winter 2015 study abroad trip to London. LONDON! I am over the moon with excitement and anxiousness to participate in this amazing program. Obviously, traveling and studying internationally is not cheap. Not only do I have to pay for my flight and personal expenses, I also have to pay for international college tuition. I am working hard to earn the necessary funds, and I am well on my way to reaching my goal.
This is where I need your help! I am looking for sponsors who would be willing to help me in my quest to pay for this expense. Don’t worry, I am not asking for something for nothing. Simply whatever you can or are willing to give is more than welcome. I have to raise nearly $10,000 before embarkation. That sounds like a hefty amount, but please realize that I am not asking you to give me an extravagant amount of money. Simply, whatever you are able or willing to give.
“What’s in it for me?” Great question! Think of it as the neighbor girl knocking on your door selling giftwrap, or magazines… For every contribution, no matter the amount, my mother and I will make her famous Playmill Fudge and deliver it anywhere you’d like before Christmas! For every $100, you will receive TWO Playmill tickets for any performance in June 2015, ONE POUND of Playmill fudge, and TWO of Heidi’s new sugar cookies! Every contribution will receive something, no matter the amount. Again, do not feel obligated to give anything if you are unable to do so. But, even if you donate $5, you will at least receive some of Heidi’s delicious fudge! Additionally, every sponsor will be an automatic subscriber to a weekly email with updates from me while I am on my trip. That way, you can see where your money is going and how it is benefiting my education.
