emotional support animal's surgery

Hi guys, normally I would not do this but I am really struggling right now. My emotional support animal Elise has been acting strange lately and I took her to the vet for vaccinations today and she had wet herself in the kennel. The vet noticed blood in her urine and ended up having to take xrays and antibiotics/pain injections, the whole package. I found out today that Elise has stones in her bladder, crystals are not uncommon for cats but it seems like she might need surgery for her condition. The vet is worried that the stones might be calcified and in that case she would need surgery for it which would cost over $1,000. The vet visit today was $410 but fortunately my mom helped me out with it for Christmas. My two cats will be on prescription food from now on that also costs $80 a bag, and I am just really overwhelmed with everything. I really am not the type of person who would ask for money unless I really needed it.
Two years ago my childhood cat Charlie was seen at the vet for a bump on her leg, three months later she had to be put down. Losing Charlie destroyed me. I failed classes and considered dropping out of school, I got a tattoo in her memory, I fell into depression. I did not have the funds to amputate her leg and I watched her deteriorate and get to the point where she could not walk. I felt and still feel so guilty for not being able to do more. Today I was in the same examination room that I had been in with Charlie and it was very overwhelming. I would do anything for my babies and I would appreciate any help possible. For those of you who have met my cats, Eli is the sweetest, friendliest cat. I could not imagine being unable to help her when she needs it. She has given me so much support and unconditional love, I will do anything possible to make this happen.
