My wife Elisa (Pacillo) Magliozzi was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 14 years ago, only2 months after our son Colby was born.
Elisa's mother Emily Pacillo passed away Sunday June 11, 2017 and will be waked at the Cota funeral home in North Reading MA on Tuesday June 20th from 4 to 7:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers or gifts the family has asked that donations be made to Elisa Marie Magliozzi to help with the cost of modifying the house to accomodate life in a wheelchair. Elisa's mobility has greatly diminished over the past five years and she is in need of a chair rail for the stairs in the home along with bathroom modifications and an electric wheelchair that can be operated with one hand as her left arm is incapacitated. Operating a traditional wheelchair is no longer an option. Elisa struggles everyday with functions that most of us take for granted.
As most of us know, health insurance covers minimum items which in turn prohibits Elisa from enjoying the simple functions in everyday life.
Elisa and her family truly appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you all soon.
