Elif's Medical Fund

Our wonderful math teacher, Elif Baskaya, has worked hard to personalize math for us. She has taught 6th-12th grade for us, juggling different levels and paces through her hard work. At the start of October, she went to the ER with bad stomach pain. The tumor found turned out to be advanced colon cancer that had spread to the liver. Her highest chance of survival is at MSYKK in NY because they do hai pump that can help unresectable liver metastasis resectable. Our school only has 21 students, but we want to raise $15,000 for this wonderful teacher. Her firefighter husband and eight-year-old daughter and all of us want Elif to get healthy again.
