I have a dream to take my little jewelry business to the big screen. :D
I'm a jewelry designer and I've owned my small unique jewelry business for 3 years. I learned how to make jewelry while still in graduate school and my teacher was the jeweler for Jennifer Beal's jewelry line (flash dance queen of the 80s!). About 4 years ago I designed my very first official jewelry piece for my business and donated it to a celebrity golf tournament for their fundraising purposes and was so excited an old 49er football player Bob Gagliano bid on it for his daughter!
My designs are very unique as it's jewelry that carries very clear intent and messages to capture a life lesson, an experience, a personal memory or a positive focus in your life journey. Each jewelry design connects and speaks to our clients in a unique way. It's my way of bringing my Marrige Famliy Therapy degree to bigger use to help more people at a time!
In the last 3 years testimonials from clients with my designs have proven it's effectiveness again and again and makes me overjoyed to hear of it. I also support various causes such as helping care for victims of trafficking, military widows, ophans and children with autism.
My dream for 2017 is to be able to get my product onto QVC. These funds were calculated as the cost it would take to form my business entity, protect my product, capital to purchase enough materials at quantity, pay labor, create formal marketing and packaging needed to succeed on air.
Perhaps it's fate but I happen to have friends who have direct leads to folks at QVC so the plan (sweaty palms and all!!!) is to have all my funding and ducks in a row by July for a successful venture.
