Support Solange, as on her Journey to Mrs. International to further develop and deliver leadership programs for girls internationally through the mission of Elevate International .
From Miss Canada International to Mrs. Canada International 2019, since 2005 Solange has dedicated the past 15 years advocating for children. Celebrating another historic moment, this year Solange became Mrs. Canada International 2019; an opportunity to represent Canada at the Mrs. International Pageant, but more importantly an international platform to advance her mission to elevate girls as leaders on an international platform.

Did you know:
- Seven in ten girls today believe they are not good enough and are more afraid, hesitant and feel insecure about taking on leadership roles, getting out of their comfort zone and following their dreams?
- Eighty-six per cent of women remember being taught to be nice to others growing up, but only 44% remember being taught to be a good leader and only 34% were taught to share their point of view?
- The rate of progress for women has been very slow; over the past decade, the proportion of female leaders has only increased by an average of just over 2%?
Should progress continue at this rate, the 2017 Global Gender Gap Report estimates it will be another 217 years before we achieve gender parity.
With your help, I intend to continue to engage leaders around the world to come alongside and change these predictions.
Today we take our mission even further by launching leadership program for girls that connect young women globally while raising awareness on issues affecting the most vulnerable girls around the world.
Background
In 2004 Solange became Miss New Brunswick International , and the first young woman from New Brunswick to win the title of Miss Canada International. This was the beginning of a journey that led her to shine amongst the leaders in our society today, and become the President and CEO of Elevate International, a UNICEF Canada Ambassador, an International Keynote Speaker and a Champion for women and girls leadership.
For more than 15years, Solange has used every title as a platform to raise awareness and advancing humanitarian efforts to save the lives of the most vulnerable children globally. Her philanthropic work has resulted in helping to raise more than $2 million dollars, giving access to water, sanitation and hygiene programs that provided 4.3 million households access to clean water.
Following Solange's Philosophy that it takes a village to Elevate, the success of her journey as Mrs. Canada Intl 2019, will truly be a reflection of the leaders in our community championing her mission to Elevate Girls.
