Children’s Nursing Elective Placement Overseas
Donation protected
Hey Everyone,
My name is Monique, I am 28 and a mummy to a 3year old. I am a Student Children’s Nurse, studying at London Southbank University. I hope to raise the money to get myself to the Philippines for a work placement in 2020. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I would love nothing more if you was able to help me out a little.
I understand life and finances can be tough but every little helps, i will be working my bottom off alongside this to try and raise the money. I understand if you cannot , I would be grateful if you could share my link.
Your probably thinking I’ve started this incredibly early. However, I have to pay to secure my place and I also need the time to save anything that I cannot fundraise.
The opportunity would allow me to work alongside the medics of the Philippines, assisting to treat the Children, as well as learning and experiencing a new clinical environment outside of the NHS. I would love to travel overseas for my elective to help the people of the Philippines. As I am sure you are aware that the hospital facilities and treatments in lower developed countries can be difficult to come by or expensive for the communities. A little support from a student nurse could make a huge difference to these people, as well as be an amazing learning experience for myself and my future career as a Nurse.
